Browsing our website
If you browse our website, we may analyse information about how you use the website, and the content and pages that you interact with, in order to improve the relevance and interest of the content on it. Our legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest.
Every time someone visits our web site, a log file is generated on our computer. The log file records the time and date of your visit, the files that were requested, your IP (Internet Protocol) address, the referrer URL (if provided) and the browser version. We collect this information to help us diagnose problems and administer our systems and to audit the geographical make-up of users and how they have arrived at our site; that is, from what other sites visitors have arrived (this information being obtained from the referrer URL). We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that you remain anonymous throughout your visit even though an IP address is personal data.
We would only attempt to use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to protect our services and other users on the site or are legally required to by law enforcement agencies.
What information do we collect and why?
We use various pieces of information to help us improve your experience in different ways, but we won’t ask you for information that we don’t need.

This is essential to allow us to complete our contract with you. Also, we use this to help detect and prevent fraud against you and us. Our legal basis for processing your delivery details is contract; our legal basis for preventing fraud is public interest (the government has determined that the prevention of fraud is a task in the public interest).

We need to know where you want us to send the order if it’s not going to your billing address. This is also part of our contract with you.

We have a requirement to send you information about your order such as confirmation of your order and when we have despatched it, so it is essential that we send you these emails.
If we use a courier, they will also use this to keep in touch with you about your delivery and, in most cases, provide you with options to amend your delivery to a time that is more convenient to you.
We will send our customers, and potential customers, exclusive offers, discount vouchers, and new product information by email. Our legal basis for doing so is legitimate interest as you have shown an interest in our products. You can also sign up to receive this information if you haven’t bought a product. For those customers who don’t want to receive these emails, you can change your preferences in the members area or unsubscribe via any email we have sent to you.

Firstly, rest assured we do not keep this information. We need it to complete your purchase and to help detect and prevent fraud against you and us. We will also use this information to be able to carry out any refunds to you.

While we are continually striving to improve our businesses and find better ways to ensure we provide the customer with what they want when they want it, we acknowledge from time to time things can go wrong. On these occasions, it is essential that we keep a record of our communications so we can deliver the best service to you and also so we can not only improve our customer care but also where necessary improve our products to better meet our customers’ needs. Our legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest.
Purchase History Details
We hold your past purchase information so if you contact us, we can find your order history on our system. This means that we are able to discuss things with you and resolve any queries quickly.
In addition, if a manufacturer ever had a product recall we need to be able to find and contact all customers who purchased the product as quickly as possible. This is a legal obligation for us.
We are also required by HMRC to keep all transactional data for a period of seven years.
From time to time manufacturers change a product and if you buy this product regularly, we will send you an email to keep you updated of the changes to make your shopping experience easier with us.
Members Area
To create an account, you will need to access the ‘Members Area’. This is a private area that is accessed via the ‘Login Bar’. Visitors to the site can sign up to login using an email address, or via Facebook or Google. From the Members Area, you will be able to check the status of your order, view past orders, check and amend data we hold about you. You can also access your ‘wallet’ where you can store your debit or credit card details.
Recipe Page
On the recipe page we invite you to share your favourite recipe with us - to do this you need to add your first name, dog’s name email address and recipe. You can then share with us by using the ‘send’ button. By sharing your name, dog’s name and recipe with us you agree to us using that recipe on the site and for other marketing use - for example we plan in the future to pop a recipe card into orders. Please don’t share a recipe if you don’t wish for us to use it on our website, social media and in other marketing. We will never share your email address.
Social Media and Marketing
When you interact with us on Instagram on Facebook, this will create ‘Page Insights’. Page Insights are aggregated statistics that are created from certain events logged by Facebook servers when people interact with Pages and the content associated with them. Page admins do not have access to the data processed as part of events but only to the aggregated Page Insights. Facebook Ireland is responsible for informing you about your rights under the GDPR. Transfers of your data
Our website is hosted by WIX and Wix can store your data in a number of locations. Your personal information may be stored in data centres located in the United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel. WIX may use other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of their services and/or as may be required by law.
Any transfer to a third country, outside the European Union, that does not ensure an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission, will be undertaken in accordance with the Standard Contractual Clauses (2010/87/EU) set out in Appendix 1 of the Wix Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

We do not use any automated decision making
Who do we share your information with?
We will never sell or rent your information to a third party. We do, however, have a requirement as explained above to provide some of your information to a third party in order to complete your transaction with us. This includes providing information to complete the financial part of the transaction with WIX payment services and also providing the delivery companies with the necessary information to be able to deliver the order to you as easily as possible. On each occasion we only provide the information that is necessary.
We will also share your data with Mailchimp who we use to manage our email marketing.
How long do we hold your data for?
We will hold your data for marketing purposes for a period of two years from either the date that you registered with us or the date of your last purchase after which time your data will be deleted. We will continue to market our products and services to you unless you unsubscribe or request that we cease doing so.
In accordance with HMRC requirements, we will hold all transactional data for a period of seven years.
Your rights
You have rights in respect of our processing your data which are:
